7240/2 buzzing

hi roger i have a electronic power head 7240/2 that is buzzing at the driver
have soaked in vinager and given a good clean
when i turn on without impellor in it still buzzes
any idea or is it a gonner cant see why it should buz even without the impellor in it ??

It will buzz when no impeller is present, this is normal. It has a Hall Effect sensor and it detects the magnets rotation, if rotation or magnetism is not detected, the alarm goes off.
