I acquired a 7410.602A transformer but it has a European plug on it is there anyway to use it in the us

No, it won't work without a great deal of added expense because it would need 230V input and at 60W which requires a larger 115-230V transformer.
 
Is there anything on the label of the transformer that would let you know it needs 230V and has a eurpoean plug?

I would have to assume it has the wrong label, the label with that plug should say 230V/20V/60VA (due to the frequency difference US is 19V, Euro is 20V output)
 
It is very unlikely, the more likely mistake is the wrong sticker. You could try it, if you plug it in with a plug adapter you could check the output voltage, if you touch your black probe to the center prong of the output and the red to either outer you should read 19-20V AC. If it is about half that we can be pretty sure it is a 230V power supply.
