this thread will be for me to post updates and keep a history of this tank and its progress, and hopefully receive some feedback.
equipment used in this build:
+75 gallon rimless deep blue aquarium
+aga pine stand
+swc 160 skimmer
+BRS reactor w/ biopellets
+vortech mp40 and 10
+2 ai sol blues
+ehiem 1262
+brs dosing pumps
+reefkeeper lite
+tunze osmolator
+titanium heating tube and small fan
i first put water in around the middle of January.
i used mostly dry pukani rock, but with a few lbs live rock from my old system, the cycle went quickly and i added the few things that survived the 2 months since i had to tear down my old tank, along with a couple of "designer" clowns. one is a "premium Picasso" and the other a "snow onyx". they are probably too young to form a pair, but they have stuck by each other even before they were both out of their bags.
