Everything looks really good Tom! Did you get your light yet or is that next week? I got mine yesterday and I love it! My corals are so mad right now lol.

NO. I did not want the light falling in when I was setting up...

Looks great!

So the cables that came with it were long enough?

LOL. I always knew those things had a use...just could never figure out what it was :)

Looks pretty sleek though, I like the low profile of the light.

They fit perfect. It is so easy to move it up and down.

Hope the coral like it...I am going to keep it up high then lower it a little every couple of days.

THANKS.

Sleek, YES. When you are looking at the tank from the other rooms the fixture looks like it is floating because the wire blends in with the wallpaper.

Thanks. Here are some pics.

When they say "sunpower" they are so right. THIS THING IS SUPER BRIGHT! Now I have it 14" off the water and will slowly lower it...

Yeh Tom looks good. Let me know if you expirence the same amount of coral growth that your used to with so much blue light. I have a relitivly identical light (but 4 bulbs on a 55 gal.) with 2 true blues, one daylight, and one super actinic. I'm just wondering if i should trade out one of the super blues for another daylight or not.

Thanks!

Well before I was using my old fixture from my 20 gallon. It was a 24" New Wave 4 bulb with no active cooling. (I switched the light from one side to the other to get 5 hours of light on each side.)

Bulbs were: FRONT ATI BLUE+
GE 6500K
ATI BLUE+
GE 6500K

I really like the "pop" I am getting from my new bulb assortment and it has the fans to keep the cool and produce more PAR. The reflectors are so much better in the new fixture as well.

The old light was 2" from the water and the new fixture is 11" now from the water. I really do not know how low I can go without bleaching. Any input?
