how often do you have to change bulbs? i heard people have succesfully kept clams under T5's as well, and that it uses a lot less electricity then MH.

I've had my 48 inch 4 bulb hood for two years and i've only changed the bulbs once! They didn't go out, I just thought I should change them...no real reason but I did. They run so well and they do use a lot less electricity?

IMO, go with a tall 110G! It's 48x18x30. Fits perfectly on a standard 48x18 stand. The bigger the tank, the better. I just switched from a 75G to a 110G and had to use the old 260W PC for a month and all my corals seem fine including some shrooms and GSP's, which I placed 1 - 2" above the sandbed.

where did you order from, looking for a place to buy online.

Oh actually I ordered it from my lfs. They don't stock the 90s, and I wanted a different color trim than that natural oak color or whatever. I can give you the name of the store if you want, but you probably won't get a better deal there than at your lfs.
