750g show tank (L shape)

is the 34g Red sea max going to be a separate system, or you hooking up to the main system?

the red sea's going to be on a separate system since seahorses don't need the same water temperature than a reef

but with the profilux upgrade 3 I will be able to control the 750g AND the 34g :bounce3:

that red sea will be great for your sea horses i bet how many are you getting
and yes i have to ask:D
have you gotten anymore done with the big tank?

Not to be rude but there are probably about a 100 people myself included who are waiting for an update on the big tank...:bounce3:

Much appreciated...lol. I am very interested in this build. Very impressive.:eek1:

Thats sad, 34g Red sea is a great little system, but of it shareing that refugium/sump.
Seahorses love pods etc

Oh well can't win them all.

Yeah I know... I would have like that too lol
but the seahorses I'll have will be captive breed so they will all eat mysis shrimp :)

I'll probably have 4 :)

and unfortunatly... no
we are waiting for the ballast for the fixture
and waiting for the glass to make the bottom brace
and we didn't had a lot of time this week to continue the plumbing... but we should be able to work on the big tank this week end :)

lol don't worry this post wont be about my red sea max hahaha
it's just that right now we didn't have time to work on the big tank
I can't wait either lol but since we want it to be done just right we wont rush on things

I should be able to post an update this week end :)

Just caught up!
Amazing stuff, looking forward to seeing it continue.

Very well done. Every single bit seems thoroughly planned out. Great job.

it's been a little while, we didn't have a lot of time to work on our tank this week

but we were still able to install the heater :bounce3:

i was just wondering, (it took a little while for me to notice that your heater is a flow through design.) are you going to pump water through after the UV to prevent algae or just run it on its own pump? just wondering. i am sure that the heater will be able to burn off the algae with no problem, but then it would be floating in the tank or start to clog the heater. just some more curious questions. (i dont run heaters)

i think it would fit to show us this build to while you are doing the big build if anything it would give us more to check out if things slow down on the big one:thumbsup:

Tagging along...looks amazing. Do you have a link to where you bought the Marinetech pumps? I did a online search and found nothing.

Thanks...
