750g show tank (L shape)

dosequis4, it doesn't matter what I say here because you will justify it in any way you can come up with that makes it right in your book. If you wanted to pay compliment and or show respect, then you could have done just that. In my opinion in a much better way. Of course that is JMO. Have a great night!

Ah yes, pull the rip cord friend.

Moving on,

My dad owns self service carwash's and while some might say, what does a carwash have to do with anything, I see a ton of plumbing. I have to say that is nice work and I like the dark colors for the pipes instead of the traditional white. The combination of everything... only an earthquake could slosh things around. That tank is going to be excellent and I can't wait to see more pics. (of the tank)

I apologize in advance for the last line.

Wow. I just went through all 22 pages, and all I can say is that you have one fantastic build on your hands. I cannot wait to see it fully stocked and teaming with life.

What kind of livestock are you going to have in the tank? Have you thought that through yet at all? Any SPS, LPS, or what? Are you going to have softies on one side of the tank and then SPS on the other side of the tank or what?

BTW great build!! Been keeping up with and you are subscribed!

I just followed this from the start. What a great project you have there. I look forward to watching this progress.

Where did you get the stainless light hanger brackets from? I am having the same problem. The giesemann ones are to short. How long are the new ones?

it's a friend of us that made them... if you like I could sell you the one I've got since we decide to fix the fixture another way :)

Bravo on a wonderful build!
Very thoughtful design, top-notch equipment, and great fabrication skills.

Your rock work is fantastic, Marie! Love the negative space.

Please elaborate on two things:
1) flow inside the tank - how did you design and what are you using for flow? 2) rock work construction - what method(s) did you use to build your structures?

Thank you !

1- we are using 10x 6105 tunze pumps, we will be able to controle them with our profilux ;)

2- I only put rocks on one another, make sure it's stable and look good :)

Is the one in its simulated habitat? This particular species looks like it could be in search mode to form mated pair, has diet of meaty bits and can be an herbivore - prefers a variety diet, good living conditions, and good lighting.

hahaha well your joke sure made people talk ;)
I knew it was only a joke and didn't take offense :)

dosequis4, if you can't be nice and post something that contributes to the thread then you should just keep your comments to yourself.

Great build guys I have been on board from day one, everything is really looking fantastic.

Thank you very much :)

and about dosequis4, sometime it hard knowing what the person really want to say since with writing we cannot know the way it's said, but I'm sure he was only joking :)

I thought about my futur fishes a lot!!

as for corals it will be mix of SPS, LPS, Soft... but I'm still not sure how I will decide to place them in the tank

Gonna be a pretty ridiculous setup when its all done. Did you consider going BB at all?

thank you!

when you say "BB" do you meen "bare bottom"?
if so, no I don't like bare bottom tank... I love the natural look that sand give a tank!

but I don't want the sand to be a source of polution that's why I only put about 1/2 inch deep

The rock work looks really good. Plenty of hiding spots in there!!!!

Thats an awesome aquascaping job. I love all of the tunnels and overhangs. Great job!
