I love achilles tangs! I'm waiting to upgrade to get one... How big is your achilles? Did you qt it, if so can you describe your qt procedure for this fish (how big was the qt, etc...). Any advice for keeping a healthy achilles?

sorry for not having been able to update lately, I've been really busy

so some news

the ligth stick (GHL led) are install in our fixture!! now we have a really nice sunrise and even storm with lightning :eek2:

JF finish our kalkwasser Marinetech ( RMK-10 Pro)... it's REALLY BIG!!!
he installed it with 2 selenoid switch, so if the pH become to high then the profilux will close one and open the second so water will go directly to the tank instead to pass through the Kalk

and we got ourselve a Deltec PF-1001 (it's a calcuim reactor) but we wont use it for that :spin2:

also we have 2 new fishes... 2 morish idol
now we didn't order them!! and I don't promote having them in any tank!
but one of our customer had not receive the right information from a store and his 2 morish was not eating and was probably going to die so he ask us if we could adopt them, we said yes... we hope that they will have a better chance of surviving in a 800g

for now they started eating, and since 3 weeks they are putting on weight, so there's hope

I think I didn't forget any

for the achile tang : the one we got is still a juv. so less agressive
we didn't QT... but praticly all of our fishes are MAC certified and we got a BIG UV sterilizer, I think as for all fishes the secret is a good water quality, varity of food, and enough space

Hi Marie,

Is that Galaxia behind the moorish idols? I had that in my old 140g tank. I LOVED that coral. When it grows up nice and big it looks neat so see the polyps sway in the currents.

If the Deltec isn't going to be used for Calcium, what will you use it for? A sulfur denitrator? That's a HUGE reactor! Wow!
