Hello
How many fish could go in my build? It's a very young tank. Would one species of Trigger that doesn't grow to big work along with some chromis, clown and maybe a TAng?

Maybe, MAYBE a small bluethroat trigger. Probably not. But if you're set on having a trigger, me saying no isn't going to stop you and that's the best fish for that tank of that species.

There isn't really a set number on how many fish you can keep. It's more how many can you have while being able to realistically handle aggression as well as nutrient export. Read up, this place has more info than you could ever need.

AND QT YOUR FISH

Hello,
Well I'm all about taking good advice. Would I b ok if I get the 2 clowns and 2 4 chromis tomorrow? Or is it too much bio load at one time? I have to damsels
That I've relocated tony 18g sump.
My parameters last week were 0 ammonia 0 nitrite and nitrate 5
Either way
I'll be getting them checked again prior to purchasing any fish.

No to any trigger. You might get away with a Kole or Tomini, but that's still pushing it for that size tank. Take a look on www.liveaquaria.com and research some of the fish you want or thinking about. Read about their characteristics, behaviors, tank sizes, and feeding habitats.

IMO, I would do one or the other. I don't experience with chromis, but I read all the time that they can be hit or miss with the group staying together. There is a chance that 3-4 Chromis can go down to 1 as they are known to kill each other off. You also have to be careful of Clowns, especially if they pair up, they can become very aggressive.

Alright. Let me see what I do. I was under the impression that both chromis and ocellated clowns were all peaceful

They are, but both of them are in the Damsel family. Chromis and Clowns are peaceful to other species and aggressive to their own kind. On that note, there are success stories of hobbyist purchasing 3-5 Chromis and don't have any issues, but they are well documented experiences that hobbyist are down to 1 Chromis. Clowns on the other hand once they pair up and start breeding, look out they can be very aggressive. My buddy had a pair and they went after everything that got to close, even his hand.

Chromis are also extremely susceptible to uronema, which requires a tank restart.
Clownfish are notorious for brook,
What I'm saying is you have to QT these fish man.
