Zoom me and Travis talked about in the past a setup with a litermeter with my Kalk topoff also. It really is the best way to go but not right now.
O!!! sorry i got confuse.
Can you tell me what size is the water intake nipple on the deltec reactor.
Thanks.

The only thing you will want to put on a timer is your CO2 solenoid so that your CO2 stays off for the amount of time you want. The 12 hour on/off time is not set in stone either. You just need to find out what works for your tank. For example, a 4 hour on time and 20 hour off time may work for one tank but another tank may require the the reactor to always be on. IMO, you want to always leave the feed pump running so that your reactor does not become an anaerobic environment during the off times.

Here are some pictures of the new sump I should be getting this week:)

Features include:

2 Bubble towers including Baffles
Bracket to mount 80mm Fans to hook up to my Temp controller
Bracket for Probes
Bracket for float switch
Plateform made to have my Deltec skimmer sit on incase of overflow.

Lets just say I'm more then Happy. You all know who built so I won't mention names. I don't want the person to be considered a vendor.

I haven't even recieved the sump and I really am excited like a little kid. This is the first real sump I will be using. It will take the place of the sump I bought with my old ReefDevil skimmer.

IMO I went to the best for the sump. As you can see attention to Detail was at the top of the list.

Sorry for the lack of updates:(

I'm currently looking for a good Peristalic Pump to use for my feed for my calcium reactor. The aqualifter pump stinks:(

Coral growth is amazing:)

Who uses a PH controller with there Calcium Reactor?

I use a Milwaukee SMS122 pH controller for my ca reactor, works very nicely. I more or less don't use the controller functionality but its nice to have it. My ca reactor has a probe holder directly inside the reactor's chamber so you know what the pH is inside the chamber 24/7 and I like to watch that :)

Yes it was Lunch:) I just don't want to act like I'm advertising for him. I guess RC mods might look at it like that. Or might view it as he is acting like a vendor.

But Yes:) you all know who made it:)

I sent a message to the a Mod to ask if I could mention his name and he can talk about it on this thread.

I had a pretty good idea who built it after seeing it, but once I say the fan mount, I KNEW for sure :) Looking good...

Ok I talked to the mods they said I can mention his name so I will:)

But you all knew already

Marc built it:) Melev

How did I know? :D

Looks really good.. hopefully you'll be happy with it. How much volume will it hold when running?

It is 48 x 16 x 16, with the bubble trap baffles at 9" high. So if the water was 9" high through-out the sump's length, it would be right at 30g of water. Odds are it will run a little lower than that, so maybe around 25g.

Well I recieved my sump today. The Packaging was awesome. It took over 20 minutes to clean up the styro-popcorn from my kitchen:)

 If you have kids, did they play in the box?

Melev, I'm 15 and I still play in boxes (if they are big enough). :worried::worried:

Any recent full tank shots?
