Im moving into a condo on monday and its on the second floor. I seen a post somewhere dealing with this kind of situation but where i plan to put the tank is against a wall and on the other side of the wall is the master bedroom. Im sure i should be fine but i know thats alot of weight i just want to get some assurance from some experienced reefers. oh yea it's also near a patio window will having some kind of natural sunlight hitting the tank will it have any negative or positive effects on my tank ( im doing FOWLR) for now i'll upgrade to reefs when i get the hang of everything. thanks

Depends if the wall is a load bearing wall and not a divider wall.

are the floors supported with I beams and Concrete(preferred) or other ?

Personally for a 75g I do not see it to be an issue.

As for sunlight it is a preference. As long as you keep clean water with low phosphates you should be fine and not have to worry to much about algae.

i have no idea

Well neither do I  .. Can always ask your Realtor :) Or if you bought it freshly built ask the builder :)

I have read that direct sunlight can speed up algae growth as well as screw your temp all up. I have my 46g as well as a 55g fw tank on the third floor of my apt. My 46 is next to a glass table which wieghs a good 200 pounds. I would just make sure your home owners covers you in case a mishap caused by the tank. Think about how much water goes in a water bed(if those things still are around) and just go for it.
