75g pump

What pump you guys recommend for my buddy's 75g with less than 4ft f head loss for a mainly LPS system. I would like to go external but could to internal. I have little giants and love em.

Also anyone have a good used or new one for sale.

Velocity/Blueline T4 or Posiedon PS

They are dead silent, but put a little heat into the tank.

i might try this Blackfin out, if I thought I wanted most my flow going down through the sump. On the other hand you can get much more flow per watt by running a low flow sump coupled with high flow low watt powerheads. For this size system, the medium flow demand, and the cleaner look of locklines, I might go with the blackfin or another well rated quite external.

FWIW... I've got a Velocity T4 that I run in a closed loop and am very happy with it. Quiet does not begin to describe it, but it does add about 4 degrees to my tank during the summer (not much ventilation under my tank, and no A/C in my house).

I'm happy with the Eheim 1260 on my 75g tank with 29g sump. It's been going strong for over 3 years and I hardly ever clean it. I think I've cleaned it twice since I got it. I couldn't be happier with it and would definitely buy another.

I should have asked earlier... how much flow does he want from the pump? Will it be the main source of flow to the tank?

I've got a mag 9.5 that I used as a return for about 4 months. Needs to be wiped down a bit, but works great. $65 + shipping if you're interested.
