75G with DSB?

Is that too small a tank for a 6060? Would I get a sandstorm? I get conflicting reports/opinions and wondering what the consensus on that is. Any suggestions welcome!

depends on the rockwork and the depth of sand. If your rockwork was quite open, say, for a fish only tank, a 6060 might be too much. However, I think that with a reasonable amount of rock, or careful placement of rocks to disperse the flow of the powerhead, you should be fine. You might even consider getting a 6000 which can be dialed down a bit if it creates too much of a mess. The 6060 is not controllable in that manner.

This is near impossible to say. I saw someone selling one used that they tried on a 120- I have a friend set up with a 6000 on a 58 and another friend using a 6080 on a DSB 120. I don't believe they are too much but I have gotten to be really cautious in giving advice on this. I am not a DSB user and so this really limits my advice in this area as I don't know how long they take to settle or mature or if they always do. I tried fine sand once and just the fish stirring it up made more mess than I could tolerate so I have remained loyal to the 2-3mm aragonite. My best advice though is that you can't go wrong with a 7300/2 or 7400/2 and if you use a Stream the 6000 will allow you to lower the flow rate.
