I'm setting up my 100g tank right now and was wondering if my 8 bulb T5 fixture would be too much for my zoas? Tank measures 48x24x20. Looking to have a zoanthid only tank. Let me know what you think and any bulb combinations that would be good for this tank. Thanks

You'll be fine, I'm keeping some Tubbs blue, radioactive Dragon eyes and others under 250w MH with no problems in a 21" deep tank. As for bulb combos I really don't know, I never got into T5's.

Agreed, your lights will not be too much just pay attention to acclimation and positioning when you move them over. What lighting do you currently have on them?

As far as bulbs go, I don't think you can go wrong with ATI, bulb choice is really up to you as far as color goes, but with 8 bulbs you have a ton of choice. If it were me, I would probably run 3 ATI blue+, 3 ATI aquablue speciels, 1 KZ or Ati pink/purple bulb and 1 GE 6500k bulb but that is just my preference (might be too blue for some).

I have PC lighting on them right now. I had an oldschool low tech set-up and now I'm finally upgrading to better gear and nicer tank.
