Here's some of a 6 gallon nanocube. Not exactly what you were asking for but very similar in size:

i guess i got a pic up there. can't seem to figure out how to make it small enough to fit or don't know how to i guess. lol

very clean tank! did you leave the original filtration in the overflow or did you take the bioballs out? how many watts is the heater that you are running?

With some advice from the big guys here ( Capn..bertoni..randy farley ) I made some mods & now the water is so clear it looks fake..

Mods

scrapped the bioballs / added about 3 lbs of small rubble rock
on top of the rubble rock, just under the stock plastic grate I have a bag of Black Diamond carbon. on top of that plastic grate I have a small psc of filter floss cut to fit down in the center & then a psc of filter floss on top of that to cover that entire section.

I scrapped the stock filter. I put in a bag of PURA-COMPLETE. It works the same as using a bag of Chemi-Pure & a bag of Purigen. But insted of the 2 bags, you just have the one

Now Iam working the lighting upgrade

any heat issues so far with the bio cubes? I know I've heard people with the aquapod 12's and 24's w/ the power compact hood having problems with a lack of air circulation, just wondering if it's come up for any of you guys. Tanks look great, and I've considered getting one, but first I want to check out the filters that they put in em.

Iam in the Chicago area....so no heat problems yet...even have a heater in there now. Iam going to do the 3.24 light upgrade from nanoturners. That upgrade kit also comes with 2 new fans. beter then the stock fans. I have heard by some that the new fans also help with the heat.

But you deff need to do the mods that I talked about in the last post........ it will make a world of diff.

No.......However I do have a Black Belt in Karate.....But it doesn't help with the dam fish.

MAN...Iam telling you. The mods that I have made are huge. I do 2 gallon water changes every week & that helps. But that picture was takin after going almost 3 weeks before the water change.
