90 gal build

I've been planning a 90 gallon build for a while now, I'm just about ready to order the tank, I am looking for a bit of advice. Tank is going to be 48"L x 20"W x 22"H, about 90 gallons, eurobraced. I spoke with uncleof6 and he suggested 12mm glass so that's what I'll be going with, even if the local builder is insisting on 10mm.

Here is what I have planned out:

First question is can the eurobracing be done this way (glass strip along the back has a gap)? Do you have any other suggestions for the bracing so that I will still have acces to the overflow box?

The reason for choosing an internal overflow box is because the tank will be in the living room against the wall, and I have no fish room and the SWMBO won't allow any visible plumbing.

Second question, are these holes done right? 4x 1" inch holes, 3x for Bean overflow and 1x for the return. Spaced 1 1/2" apart and 1" spacing between holes and aquarium walls.
Also can this overflow be built with 1/4" glass? I assume since I'm using the Bean overflow, the water level in the overflow will never be lower than the shortest drain pipe, so the water level should not be that significantly different from the tank's.

Any advice is greatly appreciated, thank you!

Bump. Anybody?

Also does anyone have recommendations for the width of the overflow? I have it designed at 3", is this wide enough for regular cleaning and maintenance? Maybe 4" instead?

How large is your euro brace? I would make my overflow a little bigger than that so I could get at least a bottle brush in there to clean if needed. Also you have to plumb the tank so you will need to get fittings in there.

Euro brace is 12mm glass and 1 1/2" wide. The gap in the eurobrace is 11", same length as the overflow.

I was thinking of making the overflow 4" wide, it's hard for me to choose a size when I don't have anything to compare to. I'm still not sure if I would use 1" pipe all the way through or if I would use 1" bulkheads and 1 1/2" pipe like BeanAnimal did when he designed his overflow.

And now that I think of it, my holes would have to be larger than 1" for a 1" bulkhead right? What's the outside diameter of a 1" bulkhead?
