Hello everyone this is my first post! yesterday I bought my first reef tank which is a 2 year old 90 gallon with stand. I paid only 200 dollars which is awesome! My first step is a sump fuge which I will be building from scratch using a 30 gallon 36" tank. I then when will give the stand a fresh coat of paint to make it more eye appealing which will allow me to set up the plumbing needed for the sump. after the sump is 100% complete I will then set up the tank! Heres my question can I cycle the tank using the lights that came with the tank which are quad 48" t5ho 216watts? I am looking into 3w per chip led lighting for the tank after I get the led's I will build a canopy with the new led's built in. I will post updates as I go along then until then I welcome all to chime in with helpful tips and advice. Thanks for reading!!:wave:
