90 Gallon Fish question

Well My 90 will be up and running next week, gonna start the cycle and get some fish in the QT Tanks (running 2x 20g longs).

In one of the 20 gallons I want a pair of Clownfish; Ocellaris or Black Onyx.

I also want to get a tang (or 2), I want to know will it be possible to put 2 tangs into a 90 gallon? or will i be stuck with 1?

The one I really want is a Kole Yellow Eye Tang. The 2nd one I wanted is either a Tomini or Yellow. (i know yellow is a little bit too big for a 90 but its really close)

I just want to know if it would be possible to get 2 tangs in the 90 or if i would be better off with 1, and is there a way to keep them from being aggressive towards other fish/each-other or new additions?

I had a mimic tang and a yellow tang in my 90g for about a year with no problems. They have since moved to a 150g but as I said, no problems in the 90g. I would add the yellow last.

What other fish do you plan to keep?

I'd strongly suggest keeping only one tang in a 90. Also, the Kole and Tomini are conspecifics which will likely cause fighting, though I couldn't say for sure.

Are you new to the hobby? Just asking based on your join date here. I'd get a long term stocking plan together and make a post in the 'Please Check Your Intended Fish Purchases Here' thread in the New to the Hobby forum. Steve gives out great advise as far as fish compatibility and answers that thread daily.

Rule is most peaceful fish first and most aggressive fish last into the tank. You really need to get a more complete stocking list together before anyone can help you with your order of addition. What I'm saying is - Don't buy any fish just yet! Being a bit patient and thoughtful now will save you some (or a lot!) heartache (and $$) later. You really don't want an established Yellow Tang bullying/killing every new fish you try to add down the line.
