First and foremost -Hello to the forum members

I am posting to hear your opinions on what to do,

I have a 90 gallon tank - 30gal sump - ASM G2 skimmer - Fluval 404 for carbon and phosban - refugium w. caulerpa and chaeto, 200+ lbs LR - HOB Overflow w/ RIO 1700 Return for slower flwo through refugium - A RIO HF14 for display turnover along with a maxijet 1200.

I have just done a 30% water change
--only fish I have are 2 Blue Tangs, Yellow Eye Kole Tang, scissortail goby and a Crab Eye Goby appx 1"

I will purchase a cleanup crew next sunday I went to the wholesalers today but unfortunately there was a large minimum purchase amount.

I have planned on purchasing

3 Herbivorous rock snails
3 Black Herbivorous rock snails
10 Silver mouth turbo snails
10 Orange sand sifting snails
3 Murex Snails
3 Chiton Snails
10 Red Banded Turbo Snails and
10 Hermits (they are black and white striped)

Is that cleaner crew sufficient?

Is that too many fish becasue I want to keep nitrates at a minimum?

Do I need more circulation?

What lighting are you using? How are you going to add ca/alk to your tank?

I think that you should get a more in tank circulation for sps.

Ditch the caulerpa, keep the chaeto. Add more flow either through a closed loop or with more powerheads. I have a mag 7 return from my sump, 3 maxi 1200s, and an Iwaki 40 closed loop, just to give you an idea of what more flow means. You have 200+ lbs of LR in a 90!!?? What do you mean you've "just done" a 30% water change? As in, this tank was "just set up"? Only because I was thinking that's a lot of fish for a new tank. That's all. As far as the cleanup crew, that should be plenty. I started small and added a few at a time until the tank stayed relatively clean. Too many cleaners and they will die from starvation and just foul the tank.
