90 gallon reef build

been a while since i've posted here, thought i'd post an update. tank has been doing ok despite a few minor setbacks. I switched over to the Apex which has been awesome. way better then reef keeper Lite. i also added two new pumps for more water flow since the two mp10's i have just don't put out that much flow needed for the size. i wanted more flow so i got two 530gph pumps. havn't really gotten any new coral recently but I have noticed some growth on what I have. one problem i had is that when i hooked up the Apex, i had a wxm module as well, and it was not working properly so i hooked it up and somehow all my outlets got deleted. i called tech support and got me back up and running but problem was i forgot to check the outlets so about 250 ml of alkalinity got dumped into the tank over a 2 hour period. came in my room and the tank was white. i got that problem taken care of by doing water changes for about 6 hours, about 20 gallons out and 20 gallons in. surprisingly everything seemed ok and all parameters got back to where they were supposed to be. i noticed a growth in coraline algae as well, then i started seeing more cyno algae. i knew my phosphates were up again, so i went to the LFS to buy more phosphate media, came home to change it and had to take a shrimp skewer to stab and loosen my carbon and phosphate stuff. i guess all that alkalinity had clumped it together so barly any water was making it through. unfortunately that was like that i think for about 2 n 1/2 weeks. so got that changed, and today the water is crystal clear and phosphates are down to 0.00. now i just have to let the algae run its course and it will die off. anyway, here are some pictures

I also rearranged my cabinet underneath. so much stuff is packed under there. also getting the apex was the best thing i could of done. I love being able to control it from my phone wherever i am.

If anybody wants me to post my coding let me know. i have it set up very simple anybody could understand it. (also note i do not have an orp probe, so its says like, 940 or something but its not really that, don't have the probe)

make sure you replace those t5 bulbs soon..the German bulbs are way better (if thats a Chinese light)

how often do you suggest changing them?

also the bulbs I currently have are:

(2) Aquaticlife T5 HO 420/460 54W

T5 HO Purple 54W

T5 10,000K 54 W

Are these adequate or are there better bulbs for more growth? (48 inch bulbs)

couple updates... I had cyno and treated with chemiclean, well then I got hair algae from I'm assuming all the nutrients in the water. I, at the same time, have been doing water changes with a new salt. I'm finished with instant ocean. I am doing an experiment with a new (new to me) type of salt. Its bio-sea marine mix. My LFS guy switched his tanks over to them and his tanks have never looked so clean. In my tanks, I have done one 55 gallon bag, and all my hair algae has died off. Now its just a matter of getting all the dirt out, with more water changes with the new salt. Also the times i'm having to scrape the walls of algae has gone down too. I like the salt so far.

Little update with some big changes. My tanks doing a lot better in the past few weeks. I got my temp down to 77-78 degrees and my cyno algae went away. I also got a new reactor and am running more phosphate media. My phosphates are now below 0.05. The algae seems to be going away and all in all i'm pretty happy. Thought i'd post a few pictures. I am getting LED lights but it will be a few more weeks before I do. I'm looking forward to them though!!
