90% of my Zoa colony won't open..been a week

Water parameters are fine. They are in low current and medium light. It has been almost 2 weeks. Do I consider them dead? or do I give them more time?

I would clean and dip them and give them more flow. Sounds like something is irritating them. Maybe fish or inverts?

You'd consider them dead when they've all melted away completely. In the meantime, what do you define as "fine" parameters? What are your number, as tested, today? Also, could be a pest, I agree, dip them in something like revive, see if anything comes off.

Don't give up on them. I would dip and relocate within the tank if possible.

I had the same problem and found out my refractometer wasn't calibrated correctly and my salinity was off. I corrected that and they opened up.

Do you have any asterina starfish? Sometimes they will eat zoas, which will cause them to close.

I've had that happen before. If his salinity is off then it could be the culprit..
