so i've had a 40 gallon breeder reef set up for about a year now, and the "bigger's always better" mentality about saltwater tanks got into my head a couple weeks ago. so i decided i would go out and buy a 90 gallon tank 48L X 18W X 24H. for the stand, i already had a metal 55 gallon stand from an old freshwater tank. so i decided to use that along with a second attachment type thing. i essentially built (with the help of my dad) two fences composed of three 4X4's and two 2X4's (each). I then had a piece of plywood cut to fit the dimensions with a five inch overhang on one side to provide a drink holder (the tank is next to a comfy leather reading chair). i attached the fences to the metal stand and placed the plywood on top of the two stands in order to distribute the weight. once finished, i brought up the new tank, filled it part way with new water, then put my livestock/corals into buckets and transfered the water in my 40 into my 90, then placed my livestock into the new tank. hope you enjoy!

Tank on stand, sorry for the bluriness
