Like the rest, the new guy was beat up (guess I'm the Ronald McDonald house for marine inhabitants) a bit. Not sure if it was a collection or transit issue but I ordered it last weekend and picked him up yesterday. I was happy with the turn around time but it would be nice to pick something up that hadnt been beat on. I suppose it's more rewarding once they've healed up. They're one of my favorite (avatar was from my previous tank) so I'm happy to have another regardless.

Picture quality isnt very good this time but I'll capture a better one before long.

Not quite sure of the species but it sure has shown great polyp extension since introduction about 5 weeks ago.

This monti was introduced around the 12 of Dec, first pic taken 20 Dec, and last pic taken today. Growth has been pretty impressive!

From what I've read, having mantis shrimp is a bad thing?? Does it make the clicking sound?

They get to banging away on the rock every once in a while but havent bugged a thing. I love having them inside the tank!
