I bought this to use in my 29 biocube to replace the Coralife Biocube protein summer that wasn't doing much of anything and I've had it installed for about 5 days now (yes, trying to be patient during the break-in period) and I don't see ANY indication (0 bubbles) that it is working or going to work. Perhaps I installed it incorrectly? What is the purpose of the air tube? It isn't attached to a pump or anything? Seems like it's just hanging out, not doing anything. The air adjustment screw is all the way open. Water level is correct. Shouldn't I see something by now? Any tips, tricks, double checks are much appreciated. Thanks!!

The air hose attaches to a cover that rests on the pump over the impeller, it is what draws the air in, remove the pump, you will see a plate that is a circle with a cross on it that the air hose attaches to (nipple in the center) attach the hose, clip the plate back on the pump and it should be ready to go.
You take the skimmer out of the water remove silencer air screw. Than remove the pump than clip the venture to pump with air hose back into place air tube goes through top plate( the one that's loose in the top) then slide the screw and silencer back on then it's ready to go back in the water. Not shore how u did it but only takes 5 mins to do out of the water. Hope this helps when u need to do. Cleaning of the pump next time.
