I am looking into this skimmer for a 20 gallon tank. The tank will have a medium bio-load and will house stony corals (LPS/SPS). I know that Tunze makes quality products, but wonder about the 9002. Is this a quality skimmer? Does it remove organics effectively.

I would love some feedback on this skimmer.

It is the most popular skimmer we make and if you just follow our rule of thumb of a 60% deduction for SPS, the skimmer will handle a 21 gallon SPS tank. I think it should be fine. From my experience I would choose it over any other skimmer in the $150 or less price range.

Ive used it now for a few months. in a 29g with about 6 fish + inverts, and my nitrates are always under 5 without water changes.

no corals though.

just keep the water level stable for best performance. so thumbs up.

I do wish the magnets came separate allowing the user to configure it to fit their needs/tank.
