Hi
I have just purchased my first Tunze product, the 9004 protein skimmer to replace my inbuilt SeaMax 130 skimmer. I am hoping that someone can provide some help please.
There is plenty of room for the new skimmer in the chamber housing behind the main tank, now that I have removed the old skimmer. The issue that I have, is that it will only sit sideways on (perfectly), but the magnets are on the back of the new skimmer, so it looks to me to be impossible to fix and adjust the height to where I want the 9004 to sit. The SeaMax has differing chambers, the one to the right (where the skimmer did sit) is next to the dry electrics chamber, with no room for the extra two magnets to hold the unit in place. The one to the left, next to where the skimmer could also sit, is the chamber for the thermostat, then to the circulation pumps - again no room for the two holding magnets.
Any advice from someone familiar with the SeaMax 130 as to how I can safely secure the 9004 at the right height, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Geoff
