Hi fig,
The Tunze 9005 and 9010 come with Tunze holding device I have a link here to a 9005 from the Tunze web site which shows the holder these come as a pair on the skimmers http://tunze.com/details.html?&L=1&C=AU&user_tunzeprod_pi1[prodid]=9005.000
Magnetic holders are suitable as an alternative.

IMO: The magnets are worth the $36 for configuring these skimmers for in-tank mode. It just snaps right onto the back of the skimmer and your ready to go. When using 9010 in sump mode you don't need the magnet. Just sits right on the bottom.
