9010 Skimmer Pump

Hi Roger,

I am having problems with my 9010 skimmer pump. Last time it was not working I took it all apart and cleaned it. It worked again for a little while now it is back to not working again. This time I can not get the pump apart. Can I send it to you to see whats wrong with it. Please let me know what you need from me to send it to you. What address do I mail it to?

I believe so, I have not gotten to repairs yet but I see a box that has a hand written address in red ink from Logan TWP NJ.

It was just locked up with calcium, you need a new drive unit and to clean it out but the motor is fine and I pulled out the old drive unit and tested it. I will call you in a few minutes.

Got the pump yesterday, thank you....Should I run the pump in vinegar or just soak the pump part? BILL

I would just pour straight vinegar into the hole in the pump and let it sit for an hour and then scrub it with a toothbrush and rinse and repeat the process a second time.

Got her all cleaned up pump fired right up. But when I put in in the sump for some reason water was not coming out of the pipe with the foam sponge on it. What would be causing not water to come out of the pipe. It was at the top of the pipe just not come over.

Most likely the bottom cover plate of the skimmer is not on all the way.
