Can a 9010 do a good job of skimming for a 210 gallon tank?
All the competition use large skimmers and pumps. How is this possible?

What inhabitants? It would be perfect ofr a fish only or soft coral tank but probably not enough for an SPS tank of this size.

Well, we lay out our guidelines as-
264 gallons for fish only or soft corals
- 20% for a mixed reef with a light fish load
- 40% for an SPS reef
- 60% for an SPS reef with a high fish load
I included the link because I honestly don't have an answer as to why they work so well. But they do. Tunze was the first company to make a protein skimmer and the first to make a motorized protein skimmer so we have 40+ years experience.
