How does the foam extractor fit on the 9010 skimmer? can anyone post a picture for me. thanks.

There's a picture of the foam extractor on page 40 of the instructions: http://www.tunze.com/fileadmin/gebrauchsanleitungen/x9010.8888.pdf. The English instructions are on the next page.

Let me know how it works. I just received my foam extractor in the mail this week but I haven't installed it yet.

My only concern with the extractor is that it may overflow the collector if the collector is too small. Roger says that if the fluid rises 3" above the end of the tube, that creates enough back pressure to stop the skimming. I guess I'll find out the next time I go on a vacation.

Is is hard to remove the foam cup to clean? or can i just leave the hose connect to the cup and not worry about cleaning the cup.

The foam extraction unit fits more snugly than the regular collection cup. I don't think that it is hard to remove. It is harder to put back in because of the tight fit. I've only installed it for one day but it appears to be very clean with no solid gunk. Per page 41 of the manual, "The foaming water removal system should be
cleaned at least once every month."
