Hi Roger - I was wondering if there are multiple revisions of this hydrofoamer. I just swapped out an erratic unit (in my 9021) for a replacement and the new unit is seriously outperforming the originals. I have never had either chambers in the 9021 producing as well as the new hydrofoamer. I've stopped down the airscrew on the chamber with the new hydrofoamer 60-70%. In the past, that screw has had to be opened 80-90% so I was wondering if there's something different or if both of my hydrofoamers have been poor performers from the start.

Thanks

Other than a new disk 9011.740, there has not been a change, my guess would be something is off on the other pump. I would check that the impellers are the same size and the venturi on the other is not damaged, they sometimes break at the neck where the venturi nozzle meets the pump.

Interesting - I meant to mention that I noticed that the nozzle on the new pump seemed to be slightly different that the nozzles on the old pumps. The new nozzle appears such that you have to align the holes for the airtube whereas on the old nozzle appears to have just one hole and therefore no alignment necessary. Does this make sense to you?

Yes, it is broken, that inner barrel is inside and broken off the tip of the pump. That is a hand labor step, the impeller housing is molded in 4 pieces, three are glued and the venturi nozzle slides over the barrel with the hole that is glued at the end, if the assembler didn't properly prep the glue joint will break. I can send another of these and you should get the same result, this small issue causes a big loss of pressure at the venturi so less air is pulled in.

Can you remind me of your name? Just PM me?
