90g Salt Aquarium--New to Salties

This may be in the wrong forum but I am getting a predrilled 90g aquarium. I am also getting a prebuilt 30g sump, protein skimmer, and a few powerheads. I have questions though..

Do I need anything like a filter (besides live rock)? If I do, would it go in the main tank or could I put it in the sump/refuge?

How many powerheads should I have for the easy-moderate/difficult corals and anenomes? What brand do you suggest?

How much wattage would I need for normal-moderate inhabitants?

How many lbs of live rock will I need? 90ish?

Now I need help on inhabitants..I would like easy, maybe moderate, fish with a lot of inverts. Any suggestions?

You sound like you have everything covered. Live rock, skimmer, refugium. Do frequent water changes and you should be happy. Low bio-load helps as well.

That's difficult to suggest. Each coral has it's own needs. A book like this one helps:

[ericsbook]

That said aim for about 20-30 x's turn over.

How much wattage would I need for normal-moderate inhabitants?

Again there is so many different needs, we would need to know the exact animals you wish to keep

How many lbs of live rock will I need? 90ish?

One to two pounds per gallon for a reef tank is a nice start.

Get that book and research the ones you like most, and see if you can meet their needs. :)

Its hard choosing inhabitants..they all look so pretty. :D Here is what I like:

Fish:

**Clown Gobies
Cardinalfish
*Firefish
*Longnosed Hawkfish
Pinkspotted or Yellow Watchman Gobies

*Occ. Clowns
*Saddlebrown Clowns
Horned Blenny

Yellow Longnose Butterflyfish
Raccoon Butterflyfish
*Copperband Butterflyfish
*Sebae Clownfish
**Green or Spotted Mandarin Dragonets
*****JAWFISH!! I LOVE JAWFISH!
Any reefsafe Wrasses
*Seahorses (If I can afford a few, I will immediately X out all agressive fish)

Those are the ones I like. Now I need to narrow it down. * are the ones I really like. But I need help with compatibility and such. I probably only want 5-6 fish at first.

Corals:

Polyps:
Button
Colony, colored

Soft Corals:
Toadstool Mushroom Leather

Mushrooms:
Green Fluorescent
Green Striped
Blue, Red, Green
Spotted
Elephant Ear
Flower/Ricordea

QUESTION: If some require high light, can the others endure it, or would it not work with low lights and then high light corals?
