9420 conversion

I have an extra 9420 skimmer pump and was wondering can I convert it to a return pump easily. Thanks in advance

The 9420.040 cannot be converted to a return pump, the volute is very large for mixing bubbles and it cannot use an impeller to generate enough pressure in the large volute to produce a head pressure capable flow.
