?

haha i think yo uhit the nail on the head. but from what ive read from that link they do no harm and can actuly be good? is that what you got from the link.

all ive been doing is blasting the mucus off of everything probly 1 or twice a day if needed is there any way of geting rid of them.

They will annoy the coral to the point that it won't open. I had a couple in my tank. I just used a pointed object and and crushed the tube they live in. They are like fishermen and throw that net out and reel it back in. Some people said they put a little piece of epoxy putty over the opening also.

im haveing troble locateting there exsact positon in my tank. becouse of all the acsses mucus lying around i guess ill have to just look at every strand and see were it goes.

ift is a huge chuck of "mucus" i doubt it is them... if it looks more like a snot rocket it is probably slime algae.

trust me know what slime algea is no this is like 2inch streams of grey crap. its them becouse i tracked a snot trail back to a nice one sticking out i crush the heck outa him i belive there are only c couple more but they are still to be seen.

I lost my battle with them a long time ago :( Definitely get them under control now if you can, because they're a HUGE pain to deal with later.
