Hello Roger,
Thank you for your help in the past.
I have a question:
The power supply for my old Osmolator stopped working. The red light on the power converter comes on when it is plugged in, but no lights on the Osmo. Control Unit. It's one of the older units ( Model: M-800 ) with power adjustment from 3 - 12 volts. The power selector slide was also stuck when it stopped working.
This happened after a run-dry alarm.
I bought a new Osmolator, but the new one has a fixed 9 volt converter.
I have a Calcium Dispenser connected to the output of the Osmo. and about 4 feet of head up to the tank. Will 9 volts be enough to properly mix the kalk in the dispenser? Is the adjustable power converter still available?
The manual says 9/12v and a delivery height of less than 55 inches. I haven't started to add the kalk to the dispenser yet - wanted to wait until I had a bit of experience with the operation of the Osmolator first.
Wanted to see what you think. Thanks again.
P.S. - I think I worry about this stuff too much. LOL
