A&C needs to copy RF

I regularly visit both this forum and the reef fishes forum and I have noticed that the reef fishes forum has primers stickied at the top of their forum. Visiting this forum frequently I've noticed that we do not have primers stickied and as a result we get the same questions asked over and over and over again. While I like helping out new people most of the time, it irritates the heck out of me when I see multiple threads about the exact same topic. My proposition - to start primers like the reef fishes forum has. We could have primers for the different species of anemones as well as the different species of clowns and in them have answers to common questions such as "why doesn't my BTA have bubble tips?", "do I have enough light for a BTA?", "can I pair a black ocellaris with an orange one?", etc. Any thoughts?

I have seen it and have read it but it doesn't seem like too many other people do. If we made primers specifically for the species in question instead of the general sticky I think it might have a better effect.

We had them that way, it made no difference in the amount of redundant questions.

i'm ok with the redundancy. IMO its good for the same topics to come up every now and then. People actually responding to your questions is what makes the boards different from a book, and every now and then that "wacky" response turns into a new way of looking at things.
