A chip on an aquarium

Please see attached image.

I bought a used 40 gallon aquarium to use as a permanent QT yesterday. I looked through all the edges yesterday so this must have happened during the move (or i didnt notice it when looking yesterday).

Anyway, is this trouble?

Make sure it's sealed well on the inside. Seal the chip and water test it. I think you should be fine. It didn't look like it went even half way through.

Looks to be on the outside edge.
Should be good, but follow the above advice about repairs.

I've had the same type of chip in my tank going on at least 4 years now with no issues at this time. Just my experience, actually forgot about it until i read your post, lol.
