A couple of things for sale/trade.....large maze brain and large Deresa

Unfortunately I need to get rid of 2 of my favorite things. The maze brain puts out > 6" sweepers and I just can't deal with that considering how packed my tank is(it's currently stinging my Garf Purple bonsai and 2 nice Montis). The Deresa is just too big for my tank.......> 10" long shell.
The Deresa does have one drawback. It wedged itself between some rocks a couple of months ago and tore it's hinge. I have placed a prosthetic hinge made of fiberglass screen anchored with superglue. It has held well and would'nt be hard to rebuild if necessary. The clam has been like this for several months and seems to be completely healthy.
I would like $60 for the brain. Here is an old pic of it when I first got it several years ago.....it looks identical colorwise now. It's approximately 6" by 4":

For the Deresa I am mainly looking for a large well established tank where I know it will be taken care of. All I want for it is maybe a couple of nice frags I don't already have. Here is an old pic (on the left):

....and a more recent one:

I have had the Deresa for about 4 years now.

I also have a few frags of things like ORA green birdnest, ROAB's purple with green polyp digi, teal acro, Garf "super hairy" green mille and green caulastrea left over from the swap if anyone would like to include one or more of those. Sorry no shipping at this point in time.

thanks for looking, Chris

Thats a sweet brain... I didn't realize their sweepers were that long... :D

Too bad I don't have a swimming pool for your clam... ;) Ahhh one day...

I'll help you build one this summer... We can take over your garage... :)

Hmmm, I wonder where we can park your boat... ;)

Chris

When we had the club meeting at your house, I thought that the clam was too big for your tank. I hate to see you lose it. Another acquisition that I cannot have. My own fault, of course. Oh well.

I have a green Stylo, not sure if it's from ORA and I've never fragged it. Do you mean the ORA green birdsnest?

Sure you could....just make it a clam tank:D

Don't think I didn't consider something like that...hah hah.

But no...I'm sticking with the goby/jawfish idea. I've always wanted that anyways.
