fantastic, Chris!
I'm not at all surprised, given the great advice you normally give.
Keep up the great work - you're an inspiration to us all.

That makes me sick! I work so hard on my sps tank and in only 2 monthes I seen about 2 inches of growth. I don't know it that is good or bad? Its my first Sps tank. For me I can't wait to see that kinda growth!!

Chris, you know you're gonna have to give us time frames- I'm going nuts trying to guess how long it took them to get that huge

Awesome progressions!

An inch a month is pretty good, IMO.

You're obviously doing SOMETHING right.

Sorry to derail fishdoc's thread.

Amazing growth, something to inspire us all!

Thanks for all the kind words :)

I would also say an inch a month is pretty darn good(or impossible) but highly dependant on species/type. IME when milles get to a ceartain size they just explode growthwise. The bigger a coral gets the faster it grows, it's allmost exponential like bacteria except on a much longer time frame;)

The best i can tell from looking at my log and when I removed the sand the first and last three took place over about 6 months. I think the middle three took place over about 8 months.

thanks, Chris
