A few macro shorts of my tank

Played around with the camera yesterday and took some more serious (turning off all pumps, focus bracketing etc.) macro shots. They are not perfect but better than nothing.

VERY nice!! Good job! Good color and pretty good focus. My only nit would be the noise in the upper area of first image. Other than that, some work to be proud of ;)

Thanks!

Yeah, not too happy about the noise there and could probably have done some more processing in order to reduce it but for a first try I should not complain.

Gorgeous!

Thanks!

Nice shots.

What kind of gear?

I am shooting with a Canon 70D and the Canon 100mm macro IS lens. Some of the shots also had some extension tubes in use as well as focus stacking to get a sharp image through out.

Purely Amazing!

Thanks!

Took a few more over the weekend. Not happy with all of them but the mushroom at the end came out OK.

The Original Chips Acro frag (just put in the tank so not very happy)

Can you explain focus stacking please?

I have exactly the same gear and I do have some trouble with getting sharp images...

Pics are gorgeous btw!!

Thx
