Yes, #1 is nice. I'd have cropped a bit tighter though. The upper portion of the pic feels superfluous to me. The polyps are very timid. Did you move / physically adjust the pieces prior to shooting?

My fav is the last one of Purple Plasma. I have that coral too. Mine exhibits a lot more polyp extension though yours has mine beat for purple "stem color". I just replaced my 1 yr old MH bulbs and things which had lost intensity of color are returning to their former glory.

I do not have much know how when it comes to cameras. But I can say that I know when something looks good! That is very cool!

I think your unknown might be A. insignis. I don't have my books with me, though.

Thanks! I did not place the corals, I have had the garf for only a few weeks so it is still adjusting and PE is not great yet.
