A few more Questions about QT

well I just set up my QT Its a 5.5 g With a 20w coralife screw in 50/50 light
my Questions are

Will this be enough light ? (I dont expect growth but will they)

I have a rio 90 which i think puts out 90gph is that to much flow 16x?

How long should I QT for ? (How fast do nudi eggs hatch)


I have tryed to find these answers my self but could't

Not trying to sound negative, but a 10 gallon QT for just a few dollars more would have been best. Then you could have placed a better bulb over the tank. While QTing, you certainly won't achieve any growth, you simply want to keep them from fading in color while QTing. So to answer your question, if that's all the lighting you have, it would be enough for QT purposes only.

Nominal flow is fine also, as long as the skirts are wiggling slightly. Not familiar with the Rio s.

I would QT for 2 weeks, the incubation period of nudi eggs is less than 14 days.
