hello everyone im joe new to the salt water but not new to aqauriums. i have a 24 gallon aquapod i jut set up 2o pounds of live sand and 30 pounds of rock its going to be a soft coral reef tank i was wanting some stocking help fish wise. i was thinkin a pair of clowns and like a fire fish or purple fire fish. and possibly a yellow watchman goby. does anyone have any advice or suggestions. thanks so much for the newbie help.

Welcome to RC. Firefish are real nice fish to have also the watchman will make a great addition. As for the clown they will be ok in a your size but might become extremely territorial if they start mating which means trouble for the rest of your fish. Try looking into some pearly jawfish, or some of the smaller wrasses are nice fish to have. Good luck.

thanks so much for the reply. i was kinda wanting to stay away from the clowns anyways but wasnt sure what else to go with thanks for the suggestions

small blennies like tailspot
small gobies like green banded

I just got a pair of purple firefish and they are one stunning fish.
