While I know this isn't the photography forum, a quick suggestion: When in doubt, take pictures a little darker than you want. You can always lighten up pictures, but it's very difficult (if not impossible) to properly darken the back up again. Other than that, good crisp pictures with some good corals

Very nice corals and I like the shots as well! Could you tell me what lighting you use please? I like the way it's making the corals look, without being overly blue. :)

Thanks Tom (The Escaped Ape) I have a 36" Metal Halide fixture 250x 2 with geismann 20k bulbs and a seperate HOT5 fixture up front with 2 Actinic bulbs...I run a convertible tank with a custom cut egg crate single piece to help with jumpers.

Love the Meat Coral. I don't have a lot of success with them. Just purchased another from DD that will be in tomorrow. Rather than placing it in my 150, I'm going to give it a shot in the 92. Hopefully with better results.

That is a very bright Favia there! I love the War corals almost most of all, after the Baby's Breath & Pot o' Gold.
Great choices all around, thanks for sharing, those Scoly's made my day!

Thanks a bunch!

Thanks a bunch!

Really nice to get the friendly comments & feedback. I'm stoked as heck...I have a really nice delivery coming in Wednesday morning and 'in tank camera' photo shoot scheduled for Friday w/a buddy. Took the week off of work to enjoy some down time and play with the tank.

Thanks! I like the way it's working for you.

How deep is the tank? I always imagined 250W MHs might be a bit much for LPS.

Yeah the 500w fixture was a great score several years back but overkill no doubt. The tank is 26" deep...but I have the halides over the back half of the tank with some SPS up on the scape and most of my LPS corals are up front down on the beach with actinic HOT5 lighting directly above them.

Here are a few FT shots...a little older

Lots of changes...always a work in progress, these are little older but you get the idea.
