A Few Question's about MH's

I have run HQI lamps in the past and looking to go back to Metal Halide Lighting for my system. What's the difference between HQI and Mogul base bulbs (I know one is double ended and the other screw in) and that HQI's come in a lower wattage? Is the light intensity different? Does one last longer than the other? Which do you prefer?

I wish i could help but i have only used se bulbs mainly because the better bulb choices you can get.

However i think hqi bulbs run at a lil higher wattage than other bulbs and does produce better penatration
