a few questions on mounting monti cap using super glue

My monti cap isn't mounted to any plug or rock and was planning to "glue" it to lr rubble. Wondering if :

A. Regular hardware store super/crazy glue is safe to use?

B. Any technique/method that would work best?

C. What proper "position" ( i.e glue it flat in the lr rubble? , have it stick out on the "edge" etc.)

I have read tons of threads but still confused... thanks in adv. and apologies for such a simple problem

Yeah, glue it white side down and prepare for growth - my 1" square frag was given to me at the end of September and it's 4" across and working on new levels now. :P

I always use Loctite ultragel control. Any superglue will work as long as the only ingredient listed is cyanoacrylate.

As far as mounting SPS seem to be very tolerant of glue so you dont have to worry about being too delicate. Sometimes it takes a lot of glue to keep SPS frags in place without a frag plug. How you mount it depends on the space you have and where you want it.
