A few questions

I'm looking at a used Vortech MP40, will this work with the Wireless Wave Driver? For cost comparison do the new MP40W come with the Wireless Wave Driver or is that extra and do I need to purchase a Wireless Wave Driver for each Vortech I purchase.

MP40 will work with WWD but you would have to buy one, $75 and replace the old MP40 driver, white, metal box.

The new whole units, driver, pump MP40W is a wireless unit.

Basically for the used one you would buy a new MP40W driver , I think they are $75 and you would change the old driver MP40, square, metal, white box out for a the new MP40W, square, white, plastic box.

The new MP40W units that run around $425 are the new wirelss units, nothing else to buy, unless of course you wanted a battery backup.

Yeah, a metal box would not be too smart of a decision for a wireless receiver/transmitter

Finally what type of warranty would I have if I upgrade the used pump to the new driver compared with just buying the new MP40W unit.

The wireless wave drivers comes with a warranty on the driver, motor and power supply. We've had a couple of instances where the addition of the now pulsing driver has made it obvious that the motor has a bad bearing. These will all get replaced under warranty.
