awesome. what camera and lense did you use to shot these pictures?
for the camera i am using a Konica Minalta Z2
4 megapixal it is an ok camer. it has taken a lot of shots to figure out the best way to expose a good pic.
QUOTE...AquaReeferMan........Looks good. Do you have any problems with your mushrooms killling any of the SPS.....
none at all. i have never had that problem they seem to grow around each other...
QUOTE......chaseracing....Nice shots. I think the tank looks great. I like a tank to look busy!
THANK YOU , I like a busy looking tank also..a lot of the rock in the tank dates back nearly 8 yrs, so there has been a lot of seeding and population of many differant colonys that have just popped up all over the place.
QUOTE.....AquaReeferMan...Did you grow out the SPS from frags or were they wild colonies??
Most were wild caught but there are many that are grown out from frags from local reefer...
QUOTE.....JmLee.....I dig the encrusting monti. If thats what it is.
I believe it is.. or is it digatota? what do i know anyways? its orange:rollface:
QUOTE.....ducati1212.....how do you get such clear pics.? I have a great camera and my pics look like crap. always blury or glare
I have had to play with the setting a lot..my camera has macro and and super macro setting. i have found that i just ignore the macro altogether and just shoot in regular mode. i dont use the flash at all and i place the lens right against the font glass. if i try to take a picture from a foot or two away, the camera always focuses on the glass and the tank becomes grainy. you can see the differance fri=om the close ups i took and the full tank or section shots of larger areas. they were taken from several feet back. the differance is clear.....
again thanks for the kind comments.. if you have any more questions.. feel free to post.. jaime
