A formal apology

I must apologize to all of the club members who may have been wondering where I've been...maybe I'm just imagining that I've been missed :lol:

As many of you know, Niki and I now have a baby boy (Jackson Robert Bouvier) and he's been taking up most (all) of my free time, which I've previously been able to devote to the club.

I must extend thanks to the various board members that have been able to pick up the slack and keep the remainder of 2007 in tact.

Also, just last Wednesday I was formally inducted as Scoutmaster of my Boy Scout Troop 44 in West Hartford - a position I've been working towards since I made Eagle Scout back in 1995. (man I'm lucky I had a son...)

Furthermore, I just had an offer on a house accepted and I hope to move the first week of July...big decision that came out of left field. Jackson took over too much tank space...priorities my friends...

There's so much on my plate right now it's looking more like a freaking buffet.

So, to all the PMs I haven't responded to and all other lack of contact, I'm sorry and I'll do my best to catch up...

This is a good thing and once the dust settles (if it ever settles) a new house means NEW REEFS...I already have a plan!!!

I'm just so darn thankful that I have my health (mental health is still TBD) and I wish everyone happy and healthy reefing.

NOW DO THAT WATER CHANGE YOU'VE BEEN PROCRASTINATING!

Got news for you Rich... it never settles. But, I do guarantee it will stir up even more as time goes on. So....whens #2 commin? :lol:

Congrats! Just in case you didn't know this, crying babies like gurgling fish tanks with lots of bright fish so tank maintenance is kinda like maintaining a baby sitter.

I agree with ctreefer. Bouncy seat in front of tank, vibrate on, music blaring.... Pure happiness. Uhhh.... for the baby that is. It is the most expensive baby toy I have, but I wouldn't trade the cost for being able to eat dinner with both hands.

Congratulations!! I was wondering what the little frag was going to turn out to be. Little boys are awesome!! Mine just turned 4 and every day is an amazing adventure. And you have gotten some great advice - just park that infant seat in front of your tank - Jackson will be entranced. Just hope that his first words aren't "hair algae" or "RTN, dad!" Enjoy every minute!
