Stand Adjustable Feet Question

So, I’ve been fighting getting my stand level and finally did. But, I noticed a couple of them are rusted. Any concern there? I’ve never had a tank stand with leveling feet.

Here’s a stock picture of what I’m talking about.

I don’t see anything to worry about there. You have never worked on old cars have you? Put some grease on them and screw them in all the way to cover

Permatex Anti-Seize Lubricant is a highly refined blend of aluminum, copper and graphite lubricants, for use during assembly to prevent galling, corrosion and seizing and to assure easier disassembly. Featuring salt, corrosion and moisture resistance, this lubricant is ideal for marine use.

When should you worry? When the rust starts into the base diameter, the cross sectional area of the bolt inside the threading.
Then you are loosing strength. Usually by then it won’t turn in the nut and is stripped in spots.

Antiseize is very messy sorry

Thanks. No, I can change oil, filters and brakes but that’s been my experience/knowledge working on cars. I’ve never been much of a car guy.

I was more thinking about what road salt did to cars from the 60s and 70s. Exhaust manifold studs that broke off. Lug nuts seized. Things like that. Surface rust is okay. Erosion of the fastener or bolt isn’t.
